My past few projects

I've been working a little here and there. I made 2 skirts for the convention, and i tried to finish a dress, but ran out of time before it was finished.

Here is 1 of the skirts

This is a drop waist skirt. Its very comfortable with an elastic waist.

Next, i made a bowtie for Tyler, to match Jaymies skirt.

When i got home from the convention, i finished the dress i had started. Here are some pictures, im so happy with it. Jaymie is all about comfort. This dress is perfect for meetings, and service!

This dress has bungee style shoulder straps, neck band, and empire waist. Jaymie is so comfortable in this dress, i will be making more of these in the near future! I have 1 more skirt and bow tie that i made for the convention, that i dont have pictures of yet. I will post them soon!

The Rocket Pop Dress

Here is the dress a customer ordered. Ive called it the rocket pop dress (you remember those popsicles,
dont you?).

It really does remind me of the rocket pop popsicles :o)

I wanted to show how the dress flair's out at the lower 2 tiers.

It looks like the buttons are off a smidge, but its just how the dress was laying. It straightens out when held up.

This is the bottom hem, all bunched up.

The lavendar tiered dress

This is a size 5 with an extra tier dress. Hopefully this can be worn a little longer then without the extra tier!
Here it is :o)

These dresses are such fun!

A Ray of Sunshine Dress

I didnt have a pattern for this dress. I sat down this morning, and looked at the fabric for probably 15 minutes before grabbing the scissors....It was a little scary, but i love how it turned out!

I designed this dress similar, if not exactly like a pillowcase dress. The shoulder/neck band is made to tie a bow or knot on 1 shoulder, or you can tie a knot on each shoulder. The 2 different styles are shown in the pictures above. Let me know what you think!!!

The Tickled Pink Dress

While i was busy planning my first business project, i got an order for 3 size 4T summer dresses.
You know the saying "life is what happens while you are busy making plans", Exactly!!!

So the buyer happens to be an old friend from my childhood. She wants these dresses for her grand daughter. She requested summery dresses, 1 pink or purple, 1 yellow, and 1 green. So i got started on the pink dress first.

Next on the project board, is a pillowcase dress, my own design this time :o)

Patterns are arriving!!!

Ive ordered a couple of patterns that im going to start offering on etsy, as soon as i can get them made!
Ive talked to 1 friend, who i will make her a free dress in trade for modeling them for my etsy shop :o) We are both excited!
Im going to try to get 1 more friend (maybe a little shapier), and maybe 2 young girls to sign on to model for me. Jaymie loves what i make her, but she really doesnt enjoy the modeling part of it.
For now, i just have BIG ideas! Ideas that might not pan out.
Im going to have fun making these dresses (i have 2 in mind), skirt, and 1 blouse :o) That will be my starting point. I cant wait to get started! Thanks for your support, i couldnt do it without good friends, and honest feedback!
